Kim Khanh - (1957-1975)
The Republic of Vietnam (1955-1975) adopted and awarded the Kim Khanh during the 18 of its 20-year period of its existence. It was bestowed in four classes (exceptional, 1st, 2nd and 3rd). Its design was noticeably different than that of its predecessor with the Chinese calligraphy replaced by scholar's scrolls. This was just one of a plethora of medals adopted and awarded by the Republic of Vietnam.
